Robert Frost Mixed-Media Piece–Somerset Studio Gallery 2010

I was surprised and delighted to see a little piece of my art-work in this brand new publication!

I was surprised because so many things I’ve submitted have been rejected, and delighted because I submitted this piece for consideration 2 years ago!

Right in the middle, on page 104…

Giggling a bit, I added images of the two magazine covers I’ve been published in over there on the right (“ooooh-aaahhh’)  This is a bit humorous in a way since most of the artsy blogs I frequent have a dozen of these little images on the side at least, and sometimes many, many  more.

Seriously, I am THRILLED to have been published in Somerset Gallery!  It is an honor and a privilege to be included among some of the most amazing artists in the mixed-media world!

Warning: If you happen to be perusing the periodicals in your local Barnes and Noble and pick up this issue to browse, please know that there are ALL styles of mixed-media art in here! Some are very classical and subdued, others are very edgy and dark;  some could be considered disturbing to many of you that I know personally.

I’ll post some close-up pics of this piece when I get it back from the publisher.  I’d love to tell you more about it!
