The top photo was my first attempt at making a collage. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing.
I’ve been playing around and having a great time experimenting. I don’t have it all figured out yet, but it’s pretty cool so far. In fact, it’s a little bit addictive because it’s like fast food art. You have a limitless number of images to choose from and you can just click and create to your heart’s content. And then start another collage.
You can find out where each and every image in a collage is from by going to the site (I’ve added a link over on my right side-bar) and clicking on the part of the image you’re curious about.
You’ve probably seen Polyvore collections if you’re on Pinterest. If you like combining images to make art collages, you’ll love it!
Here’s one I made today. I discovered that you can search for text items as well as images.
There are so many awesome textures and backgrounds available. And you can pick your color palette, too!
I even made a Hunger Games poster (because I love the story just as much as my teenager does) and it only took a few minutes.
Have any of you read the entire trilogy? What did you think of the ending? I thought it was bittersweet, a lot like when Frodo sails off to the undying lands at the end of Lord of the Rings. But that’s just me.
I’ll post some photos of my new submission to Somerset Studio up next, thanks for stopping by!
