I incorporated all the suggestions from last week and worked on some final sketches.
Thanks to everyone who left a suggestion, it is so helpful!
I cut out the elements from my earlier sketch and moved them around until I liked the grouping.
For the final drawing I took out the flowers because I felt like they were distracting and taking the eye away from the intimacy of the central figures. I added a darker sky and some fireflies instead. I also decided on the blank faces, as they seem to communicate the ideas and ‘feelings’ of the design more.
The only other change was the removal of the tear drop. I took this out because my daughter said it made it look too sad.
Thanks again for your great input last week! And I appreciate each and every comment, it means a whole lot to me when you leave a note.
Thanks for stopping by! Check out more creativity at Paint Party Friday!
