Asparagus Art

Had to try it! These asparagus stems looked perfect for painting  flowers.

I haven’t used a vegetable in my art since I stamped with celery years ago.

Asparagus blossoms: pretty on fabric or paper.  I can see an apron with this floral pattern,  and I always see note cards.

Hope you’re having a nice weekend!

  2. Love how these flowers turned out with the asparagus! Such a fun idea 🙂 Love it!!! ~Sophia

  3. I had never seen the asparagus used before this but have used the ‘stump’ of a celery stalk which results in a rose look and carved a shape into a piece of potato then used as a stamp. Always enjoy your creativity. Connie

  5. Hi Scarlett – what a brilliant idea … your art looks like agapanthus to me … but an apron too, or some cards … delightful to see you create and the results … cheers Hilary
