Nothing smells more like Christmas to me than the spicy scent of cloves mingled with sweet citrus. Mmmmm…..
This was another favorite gift idea of my mother’s when I was growing up. We’d create a pretty pattern of cloves all over a big juicy orange and tie a ribbon around it, pinned with a loop at the top for hanging.

I have fond memories of doing this, too~ I think it all started when my grandmother showed me one she had for years. It is such a soothing, comforting craft, it reawakens wonderful memories~
