  1. Dignity… what does it look like?

  2. A message worth heeding.

  3. It is a great suggestion, but in reality this isn’t a normal a situation! YOU do what works for you n’ your family! I’d be dressing my son up in Halloween costumes, having Christmas, whatever I felt like! Birthday cake n’ gifts, NOW~ Screw what other people think, this is your son, your family…do what feels right for you! I would take so many photos and try to give him as many experiences as I could. No one can tell anyone how to feel or act….no one can unless they walk in your shoes! People say stuff to me all the time; You don’t walk in my shoes…you don’t know…is what I say! xXx

  4. I agree wholeheartedly with Ellen for sure!

Live for you and your family. I know I am just living day to day, and heck even hour to hour somtimes, and I am not even remotely going through anything like you.

As for your previous post, I feel a lot of your pain, I too am having an extreme crisis of faith and really just don’t knwo where I stand on any of it anymore, but I continue to pray for what good it will do, and I wish and send you all my heart and love, for you should not have to go through this.

  5. The person who wrote “Face any problem with dignity” is also advising on the pick six. I think his words are suspect.

I’m with Ellen and Emu. If anyone suggests what you feel, or think, or say, is somehow wrong–or that there’s a “right” way to deal with what you’re experiencing–they’ve no idea what they’re talking about.

I can’t speak to dignity. But I do know courage when I see it, and I see it in you.

You could have locked yourself in a room, Scarlett. Huddled in a corner and not looked up. But you didn’t. You’re sharing your life and your baby’s life with people who care about you, and care about him.

I know it isn’t the same as being family and being there with you and for you, but to the degree that someone who knows you only through your art and words can, we love you, and your baby, and we hold both of you close.

You’re in my thoughts and prayers, Scarlett.
