Natural Butterfly Collage

Shimmery, creamy white. Unpredictable texture and transparency.

I love onion skins.

I also love dried stuff from my back yard: grass stems, dandelions, and primrose petals.

I slipped it into a vintage wooden frame that I found at a thrift store.

This natural collage is available in Knox’s Etsy Shop, so check it out!  Happy Sunday and thanks for dropping by!

  3. Hi Scarlett – I love the way you utilise so many natural things – especially the onion skins and then drying your garden seeds, leaves, stalks etc ..

The montage is beautiful – what a great find that wooden frame is ..

Cheers and have a happy week .. Hilary

what did you use to crop the butterfly shape from the onion skins? just love it!
Also, Are you doing/planning anything for pregnancy and infant loss awareness month?

    • Hi Sarah, I just used a butterfly paper punch that I use for card making…I had to be gentle with the skins but it worked fine! I wasn’t even aware that there was an infant loss awareness month, but I’d love to know more about it, thanks for asking! Appreciate your comment! 🙂 Scarlett
