I had the previous post ready to go when I got home tonight but I’m actually just home from the hospital. Dad is taking a turn so I can get some fresh clothes and see to the others.
Knox is having a severe reaction to a virus and isn’t eating or drinking. His mouth, tongue, and throat are covered in painful ulcers and he’s having morphine around the clock to relieve his pain.
Tough times.
I sketched this quickly while Knox was finally resting after an extremely difficult couple of hours. I think it’s a terrible drawing, which makes it perfect for this terrible sickness.
It’s only been three days but I miss visiting many of your blogs, especially all the Friday painters. Maybe I can talk my daughter into letting me borrow her iPad at the hospital for the next day or two and catch up. Blessings to you all ~Scarlett

And that some good will come from this – moving closer to a cure, strength in character and compassion, deepening in love. It is so painful to see our children suffer. They are so innocent. I will be praying for him until he is healed. Until then my heart goes out to you and my prayers for you and your other family members will be for strength and peace.
