Published in Somerset Life, Spring 2013 and Paper Roll Bunnies

I’m thrilled to have my pillow boxes featured in the new issue of Somerset Life.   I’m always amazed at the beauty and creativity in this publication.  It’s my favorite!  Thanks so much to the editors for the opportunity to share my work within these lovely pages. This issue will be on the news stands April 1st.

And if you need a last minute spring project for little ones visiting for the holiday, try these little bunnies.  I posted how to make these cute paper roll bunnies last spring and included the pattern.

This year I made some with a vintag-ey look using muted floral papers with some baker’s twine and paper flowers as embellishments.

If you need a fun and easy last minute spring craft, check out the original post from last year and choose whatever type of papers you like best.

I wish all of you a Happy Easter weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

New Butterfly Cards with ‘Sweet Nectar’ Papers

These 2 pretty sets of butterfly cards were just listed in my shop for CS research.

I used the bright ‘Sweet Nectar’ designer papers from KC Company on these. The colors are so cheerful and fun!

If you know anyone who likes handmade cards or butterflies, or both, please pass on the link!

I send the money from my shop to Boston Children’s Hospital, where a few brilliant minds are trying to solve the puzzles of Cockayne Syndrome.

Hope you’re having a great week, thanks for stopping by!

Owl Valentine’s with Anna Griffin Designer Papers

Just wanted to share this set of 4 Owl cards I listed in the Etsy shop today.

Click the clock button on the right side-bar to see more detailed photos in the listing.

And please feel free to share the link with anyone who loves owls.  :)

All sales from my little Etsy shop go to Dr. Neilan and his team at Boston Children’s Hospital.  They are working toward a cure for Cockayne Syndrome.

Hope you’re having a wonderful week so far! Thanks for taking a look!

Butterfly Cards for Cockayne Syndrome

Just finished up this set of butterfly cards for my Etsy shop for CS Research.

Knox is doing better! He sure gave us a scare last week as his intake fell to barely 8 ounces a day.  Thankfully, his appetite seemed to return on Sunday, and he’s been back up to 12 ounces again.

I’ve been busy working on some ATCs for the next swap at Archiver’s.  The challenge is using a candy wrapper in the design. FUN!  I’ll show you what I came up with in a day or two.

I also want to build up a collection of owl cards, so if anyone out there is up for an ATC swap with owls, I’d love to trade with ya’.

Happy September!
