NEW Greeting Cards listed in Knox’s Shop

dscf5843

I just added some NEW cards to Knox”s little Etsy shop.  I began the shop to raise money for  medical research back in 2011 and have kept it going in Knox’s memory, and in honor of all the beautiful children with Cockayne Syndrome around the world.

These cards are really unique, made with designer papers and accents. One set has 3 “Thank You” cards included, and the other set features 4 all-occasion cards. All the cards are blank inside, waiting for your personal message. They come with matching kraft envelopes, and will be shipped to you, along with a small information card on Cockayne Syndrome. dscf5836 dscf5837 dscf5839 dscf5840 dscf5849 dscf5851 dscf5854 dscf5846 dscf5857 dscf5856Please consider purchasing hand made greeting cards or original art this holiday season.

All proceeds are sent to medical research for Cockayne Syndrome. Thanks for stopping by!

Cards Using Kid’s Spin Art

Much like the cards I posted recently using my kid’s leftover paint pallettes, these cards were made with their spin art.

They looooooove spin art and want to make it all the time.

I used the same punches but I used metallic gold paper for the butterflies this time. The words and phrases from newspapers are a little more abstract this time, but I still like them.

These cards will be listed on my new Etsy shop for Cockayne Syndrome  by the end of the week. Hope you like them!

Cards Using Kid’s Paint Palettes

The paper palettes left behind after my kids paint are incredible. I never throw them away.

Colors swirl and mix, leaving textures and patterns I couldn’t have made intentionally.

Their old palette papers made beautiful cards.

I used my circle and butterfly punches and then added words clipped from newspapers.

And this last card was made using the scraps from the scraps!

 And it’s my favorite.

For me, art is medicine.

It makes me feel better, so this is my new tag line.

These cards will be for sale in my new Etsy shop for Cockayne Syndrome as soon as I can list them.  I made envelopes out of recycled newsprint for them so they’re very ‘green’.
