Butterfly Cards for Cockayne Syndrome

Just finished up this set of butterfly cards for my Etsy shop for CS Research.

Knox is doing better! He sure gave us a scare last week as his intake fell to barely 8 ounces a day.  Thankfully, his appetite seemed to return on Sunday, and he’s been back up to 12 ounces again.

I’ve been busy working on some ATCs for the next swap at Archiver’s.  The challenge is using a candy wrapper in the design. FUN!  I’ll show you what I came up with in a day or two.

I also want to build up a collection of owl cards, so if anyone out there is up for an ATC swap with owls, I’d love to trade with ya’.

Happy September!

Autumn Colored Butterfly Cards

The heat is relentless here in central Texas!! 104, 102, 103, 105…..Some are saying this will prove to be the worst drought in our state’s history. It’s already the worst drought in my lifetime. Everyone asks the same question, “Is it EVER going to rain?”

I sure hope so. And the rains and cooler weather of autumn can’t come too soon!

Autumn colored butterfly cards for sale at my Etsy shop: “Cards for Cockayne Syndrome“.  All proceeds to research!

Butterfly Cards

This set of 4 hand-made butterfly cards are blank inside and available at my Etsy shop, Cards for Cockayne Syndrome.

All proceeds are sent to Children’s Hospital, Boston, where Dr. Edward Neilan and his team are working toward a treatment for CS.

I just got this nifty stamp from Office Max to stamp the backs of the cards.  This way, the receiver of the card can be directed to the shop.  If they’re interested,  this will raise even more awareness!

Hope you have a great weekend!
