Drawing these shells has been good practice. Yes, it would’ve been so much easier to buy a unmounted sheet of shell stamps somewhere, but again, the goal was drawing practice. So here is #12- A ‘skillets macron’ shell, to be exact.
I drew the giant conch by hand with a hard graphite pencil and then used Prismacolors pencils for color.
These are the first two in a series of over-sized tags I’ve been working on. The sea-shells are hand-drawn and torn out of my sketch pad. I’m ready to take a trip to the beach sometime this year! It’s been too long since I’ve seen the ocean.
