The Smallest Candy Canes in the World

Ok, maybe they’re not the smallest in the world, but I bet they’re close.

I made them from red and white baker’s twine and fabric stiffener.

Cut some small pieces of twine.

Soak them in fabric stiffener for a few seconds.

Lay them out on wax paper, shaping them into candy canes and let them dry.

After they’re dry, you gently peel them off the wax paper and you have itty bitty candy canes.

I needed some tiny candy canes for my second hot air balloon ornament, it’s almost finished!

Hope your weekend is merry and bright!

  1. Such a clever idea! You will have me making all sorts of shapes. Who wouldn’t be thrilled to receive a small envelope of these in a swap? The perfect embellishment for a wee small brush tree…:)
