I had the pleasure of taking some photos of the T. family last month. Since I take a lot more pictures of stuff than I do people, I was a little worried that I wouldn’t be able to pull off any good shots. Thankfully, I had been practicing a lot here at home with my kiddos, so I figured I could at least get one good picture for them.
I’m finding out that it is much harder to take good photos of groups than I thought it was. I learned a lot by taking these pictures, though. For example, I should probably ask people if they like angled shots before hand.
It’s fun to try and arrange artistic compositions, but on the other hand, it’s still got to come across as a portrait. The more I practice, the more I think I will be able to achieve both of those goals. But I definitely need more practice!
Isn’t this a great looking pair?
Here is the photo they picked to send out with their Christmas cards!
They are all so photogenic!
Thank you T. family for allowing me to photograph your beautiful family as part of my ongoing, self-taught, photography adventures 🙂
I think you did a great job!
A lucky family to have such beautiful pictures taken of them. You did a great job.
