Look what I found!
I came across this precious Ellen Clapsaddle postcard in our local antique mall. Oh my goodness, my heart skipped a beat when I saw the tiny butterflies being painted.
Being well over 100 years old, the copyright on this image has expired, so you can already guess that I want to get some prints of this image put on cards for my Butterfly Cards for Cockayne Syndrome idea.
I wonder if Mrs. Laidlaw of Providence, Rhode Island was as excited to receive this card as I was to find it?
Oh my goodness! To think that 100 years ago or more this perfect card was made. And to think that you just happened to find it! Amazing. It is so pretty and so perfect. What a wonderful find!

It’s gorgeous! They don’t make them like that anymore, do they. What a great find!
The angels are watching over you, my friend, and I have a feeling you were led to that postcard at this time as a reminder of God’s watchful care.
