Who can sleep the night before a surgery? I sure can’t.
Weeks ago I was playing around with some paper scraps trying to make a custom baby announcement. I love this piece of text I found in one of my art mags…
I had some vellum paper, clip art flowers, another scrap that said “pure joy”, etc..and layered them on a piece of white cardstock matted on navy blue.
I never got around to finishing it or printing it out, but I still think it looks cool. I especially love how the scrap had the numbers 1,2,3,4..so I could highlight the number 4 with a heart.
I scanned it in and added this sweet chubby cheeked photo.
Number 4 sure is a beautiful one to us!
That is ADORABLE!!!
I’ve been praying that the doctors will find nothing to remove from his eyes. But you know what? Even if they do end up having to go through with the surgery, God is still in control. He has a plan for yours and K’s lives that you just can’t see yet. It’s as if you are looking through a telephoto lens, seeing only a portion of what’s happening, while God has the wide angle lens, viewing everything clearly, including what is going to happen way down the road. Remember, all things work out for the good of those who love Him.
Love you!
Alex
Good words, Alex. So true. I prayed all the way up until this morning that they wouldn’t find anything either, but God has other plans. Thanks so much for your encouragement!
Beautiful scrappage. Its good to be creative through times of trial.
Wishing and praying for you all.
