I hope you’ve been having a wonderful summer in your neck of the woods. I know I haven’t been posting as much lately, but my time has not been my own!
My Knox has an ear infection and is having some trouble with his swallow, but overall, he’s had a good summer.
My special boy had a birthday recently. He turned 3 years old!
He’s still only weighing in around 13 pounds, but he’s as sweet as ever. He is unable to walk or talk or do the things a healthy 3 year old can do, but he makes us smile every day.
We are already getting excited about our trip to England next month for the worldwide Cockayne Syndrome conference. This wonderful event is put on by the support group, Amy and Friends, based in the UK. Our trip last year was amazing and we’re so thankful to be able to attend again.
Still having fun with my bandit girl paintings. This one was inspired by three words…
Be sure to visit Knox’s Etsy shop and see the lovely butterfly items and original art for sale. All proceeds go to CS research! And don’t forget to check out my FB page for more current drawings, photos, and works in progress!
As always, thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend!
Love the little ‘bugs.
How amazing it must be to attend a conference where everyone just instantly “gets it”… have a safe and memorable trip!
