Art With Children
Making art with my children is one of the greatest joys of my life. I’m so grateful to be able to share my love of the arts with them every day! Homeschooling gives me the freedom to pass on my love for art to my children and the time to learn new things along with them.
A Home-Made Puppet Theater
Two cardboard boxes from the garage became the framework for our home-made puppet theater. I used a knife to cut out the opening on one side of the top box, and then taped up one of the flaps in back. I think the photos do a better job of explaining […]
Super Art Friday- “Sun Prints”

Super Art Friday–“Spring Eggs”
Baby K. sees his first colored egg. S. monogrammed eggs for her favorite people. She crushed up some of the shells and made a picture of an egg sitting in the grass. Creative! Have a blessed weekend, Scarlett
Super Art Friday-“Making Boats”
For an easy and inexpensive project, we went to our recycle bin and gathered items to create dream boats. Her boat has the benefit of both wind and steam power. 🙂 “Look Mom, this cabin opens up and there’s fishing nets in here.” 🙂
Super Art Friday-“Painting Redbud Branches”
The Redbud trees are so beautiful this time of year. I snapped this photo for my daughter to use as a painting inspiration. I gave her a piece of legal sized aged parchment paper. I can tell that she values an art project more when I give her quality art papers and supplies, […]
