We changed up our candle holders this year by using different colored tapers. I don’t why I haven’t done this before? It’s really fun to have candles in several colors instead of all white or all red. Happy Saturday!

Nothing smells more like Christmas to me than the spicy scent of cloves mingled with sweet citrus. Mmmmm….. This was another favorite gift idea of my mother’s when I was growing up. We’d create a pretty pattern of cloves all over a big juicy orange and tie a ribbon around […]
December 16th- “T. Family Christmas 2010”
This family is ***PHOTOGENIC*** I just press the button and they make a beautiful picture. I chose to feature this family for December 16th because I have been friends with the lovely Mrs. T. for 16 years now. We met while we were both students at Texas A&M […]

When you live in a place without white Christmases, you have to read books about them. This sketch is from an old copy of Washington Irving’s “Old Christmas”. The book is full of charming little sketches of old fashioned holiday cheer. Hope your weekend is Merry and Bright! 🙂

Ohhhhh, how I love red shoes! Both of my girls wore these little shoes and I can’t bear to part with them. I also couldn’t decide which photo I liked best so you get both. 🙂 *Happy Friday*
