I’ve never had such a struggle to come up with ATCs as I did for this swap! The theme was, “It’s a Zoo Out There”. I couldn’t find anything in my stash o’ stuff with animals. Then I thought of professional working women wearing animal print fashions…so that’s what I went with.
With the help of these obliging magazine models, I tried to create “ladylike” women wearing leopard print. Each one has a large leopard corsage and black sunglasses. They are supposed to be working women in the crazy “zoo” of corporate America.
I hope I’m not the only one that took a more abstract view of this theme! Oh well…. I haven’t been kicked out of an ATC swap yet. 🙂
Hi Scarlett .. the cards suit your zany style and I’m sure will be so well received .. loved them .. creative to say the least .. cheers Hilary
I love the fun take, wild and zany! And it is a jungle out there, so fitting!
How did you do on the newspaper challenge? I mailed mine off today; I did better with the tart tins. xXx
@Hilary –Everyone seemed to like them enough, but there were some really cute zoo cards with animals, so much creativity! They also had a quilling demo today so at least I knew what was going on for that part! :)Thanks so much!
@Ella –Thank you and I have been working like a crazy woman trying to get my newspaper thingy finished!! Going to try and get it in the mail tomorrow hopefully. I want to see what you did!! I’ll be over soon! 🙂
