Scarlett your art so depicts the battle you and your beautiful boy are fighting~ YOUR art is amazing and I hope it helps you to release your feelings this way~ xXx I emailed you! Be safe this Labor Day weekend!
Scarlett,
Your picture is beautiful. My heart goes out to you. Everyone who has a precious child knows how deep a mother’s love goes…it is beyond words. We pray for you daily.
It touches my heart to see how you use your expression of art to work through the pain you are experiencing. There is a lesson here…..some things are too painful for words. Only art will do!
@Ella –Thanks so much, and yep, it really does help. I emailed ya’ back! 🙂
@Jean –I appreciate that so much, Jean, I attempted to add some words to this post, but I wasn’t able to.
@dee day –I’m glad to know there are those that understand that, Dee. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see you soon at HCBC.
@Hilary –You found me just when I was fixing to shut my blog down. I decided to keep on and post the glad and the sad. Perhaps others out there are in the same boat and can relate, others can learn and understand more of what it’s like..so glad you came by! Thanks for sticking around despite the changing moods of my posts.
Dear Scarlett, that drawing tells us so much. There is no need for words in this post. I’m sorry I haven’t been around more. I try to stop by and catch up when I can, but I wish I could do so as often as you and your family are in my thoughts (which is always).
I’m glad you liked the cards. I know they’re not much, but I’m glad you like them anyway.
This is stunning! Just so beautiful. And I just adore your puppet theater – just finished flipping through “Create with Me” – have you considered submitting your pictures of it there? Your work and photography are just so special. THANK you for your sweet congratulations too – it really means a lot, xoxo
@i.ikeda –I’m so glad you stopped by, I’ve missed you! 🙂 It means a lot to me that you would be thinking of our family and our sweet Knox. Thank you so much. Best wishes on all of your business endeavors, too! 🙂
@kristin –I’ve never heard of that mag. but I’ll check it out! Thanks for the idea! And thank you for taking the time to visit. 🙂
@Julie –Sometimes I’m not sure whether to post my drawings or not, but kind comments like yours keep me encouraged. I appreciate your kind words very much, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Yes, Scarlett, post those drawings. They convey what the rest of us feel (for differing reasons) and cannot express. It helps to know that someone else understands. And understands more than we, ourselves, could ever know.
I love all the echos of DNA strands permeating the lady’s thoughts. It’s encouraging that she still holds her head up. She is not broken and senses she is doing well, as painful as the journey may be. She is also not alone. God’s creation surrounds and comforts her. The trees are just as naked as she feels, yet both are amazingly beautiful even in the midst of difficulty.
Just as you are.
