I remember when my mother used to hang clothes out on a clothesline and used those pins that didn’t clamp shut. I’ll bet she was happy when she got her dryer. I remember wandering through those hanging clothes on a summer day. Sometimes I would push my face into the hanging bed sheets and breathe in the clean scent.
Lovely image and mood you implied here~ Takes me back to perhaps the clothesline of my youth. I can see home movies of my Mom hanging out my laundry. Those tiny cute dresses~ Thanks for the view @>—-
I love the detail of the flower. Do you always hang your clothes dry? I love the smell of clothes dried in the sun, but we don’t get enough of it here, haha. Still, no dryer for us. 🙂
Thanks so much!
This photo was just a staged shot. Our home-owner’s association won’t even let us have clotheslines in our yards. If I were free to do what I wanted in my own yard, I would definitely want a clothes line because I love the smell, too, and we get plenty of sun down here is Tejas. 🙂

Tossing It Out
I love that your image and the things within are soft and faded, as if by sun.
You’ve a way of seeing the beauty in ordinary things, and sharing it. Thanks for that.

Just wanted to let you know, I’ve seen your cards to your husband…. They’re pieces of art! So beautiful. Mine are nowhere near that caliber, haha.
