Main Street in downtown Greenville, South Carolina, is filled with art!  Art was everywhere: on the walls, in the windows, and on the ground!  As we explored the fountain area, we discovered that art was also hidden all around!

A bronze plaque on the streetside of the fountain explains the “Mice on Main” children’s exhibit.

“Can you find the other eight mice up and down Main Street?”  How fun is that? Little bronze mice sculptures are hidden all around the town.  On the adjacent side of the fountain is a sweet bronze sculpture of a  mouse reading Goodnight Moon. 

We only found 5 of them before we had to head back.  This is such a fun town!  I only wish my 7 year old had been with us to help search for mice! We may have to have our own “mouse hunt” here at home.

These little mice are hard to find! Those shorter to the ground definitely have an advantage!  Greenville has a lot to offer artsy folks like me. The biggest thrill by far, however,  was on the BJU campus….more to come!
