I just noticed on my side-bar that my blog had a birthday.
Wow. Has it already been a whole year?
I could wax eloquent on how sweet this blog has been; how it’s led to many creative endeavors that I never would’ve attempted….
Nah.
I will say this: I’m a better artist now than I was a year ago, thanks to this blog and the encouraging feedback I’ve received from many of you. 🙂
Sharing photos has become my favorite thing to do over the last few months, so I’d like to celebrate blue purple and scarlett’s first birthday with pretty pictures…
My little kids went to the strawberry farm last week with their grandparents and brought home several pounds of ruby red berries. Enjoy!
They look yummy! I bought a box in Pleasanton yesterday on my way home from Corpus. The flowers are so incredibly gorgeous this year! Next weekend we are going to Outlaws near Smithville to catch up and I’ll get to see even more. My own land is solid flowers in spite of the drought years. That’s because I don’t mow until the seeds are ready and it gets pretty wild and wooly out there.
Were you at the beach? (I’m jealous! :)The flowers are unusually thick around here, too–so many more than last spring–hope you have a fun time on your trip! Tell the Outlaws howdy for me.
I continue to enjoy your photos. It was a nice surprise to see the beautiful images today in my email. Just wanted to stop by and say hi and let you know.
Happy Birthday to your blog 🙂
