Shimmery, creamy white. Unpredictable texture and transparency.
I love onion skins.
I also love dried stuff from my back yard: grass stems, dandelions, and primrose petals.
I slipped it into a vintage wooden frame that I found at a thrift store.
This natural collage is available in Knox’s Etsy Shop, so check it out! Happy Sunday and thanks for dropping by!
Lovely!
That is so cool, very unique and effective piece! I love the natural elements!
Beautiful Scarlett!!! I never would have thought to use onion skins for butterflies. It came out fantastic!!! Love it!!! ~Sophia
Hi Scarlett – I love the way you utilise so many natural things – especially the onion skins and then drying your garden seeds, leaves, stalks etc ..
The montage is beautiful – what a great find that wooden frame is ..
Cheers and have a happy week .. Hilary
<3 lovely <3
what did you use to crop the butterfly shape from the onion skins? just love it!
Also, Are you doing/planning anything for pregnancy and infant loss awareness month?
Hi Sarah, I just used a butterfly paper punch that I use for card making…I had to be gentle with the skins but it worked fine! I wasn’t even aware that there was an infant loss awareness month, but I’d love to know more about it, thanks for asking! Appreciate your comment! 🙂 Scarlett
