Somebody wanted to have a little tea party now that the weather is so nice.
For one of the crafts, I stamped a simple fall card and made up “kits” for each of the girls to make one of their own. Did you know that girls love to stamp? 🙂
They also made these gorgeous paper sunflowers from Paper Source. LOVE their stuff!
I even let the little darlins use my wedding china. It likes to be used. 🙂
My sweet MIL picked up this awesome plastic silverware for the party. The pretty look of silver without the cleanup!
I’d been wanting to use these tiny brown paper sacks for something.
So I stamped a tea-cup for each party favor and attached it to a sack…
I printed out some pictures of tea-cups and printed “Thanks for coming!” on them and cut them into puzzles.
The puzzles were put into the little sacks and attached as tags for the party favors, which were boxes of flavored herb teas.
What a fun afternoon! It was filled with some much needed happiness around our place. We’ll have to have another one soon!
What great ideas. It looks like the girls had a lot of fun. I can’t believe you would have the time to put this all together.
Glad you could get some respite from the challenges of life. You are amazing, I love reading your posts and looking at your photography.
You are very talented. Thanks for sharing.
Tamara
Thanks Tamara! I don’t know how I pulled it together either-haha! As I hinted in the post I just wanted to give my daughter some happiness (since things have been so tense with baby) so I guess love found a way 🙂 Thanks for the encouragment as always-it means the world to me! Take care,
Scarlett
What fun! Such a nice way for young ladies to enjoy an afternoon ! (And I love your wedding china – it’s gorgeous…blue and white are so pretty!)
