I’ve been busy trying to finish up the 2012 “Candy Corn Queen” this week.
This will be my third year celebrating my eternal love for the corn.
I’ve also gotten some Queen cards printed up and listed in my little shop, so please pass on the link to all of your candy lovin’ friends.
Be sure and go ‘like’ my Facebook page, too. Today you can see the paintings my young art students did in the style of Jacob Lawrence. They turned out great.
The candy corn tree above was made on Polyvore. You can check out more of my Polyvore art here.
The Queen is up next!
Will you make the owl tree into cards or anything on itsy? I just love it and love owls! How about seasonal cards one for all times o the year ( or seasons) with the owl in the tree? Just an idea. Scarlett your so creative.
One of my daughters favorite books. “Owl babies” . It is precious.
@Susan –Thanks so much, Susan, I’m glad you came by and I love that idea! An all season set with owls is a great concept for a card set. I’m definitely going to do that. I don’t think I’ll make the owl tree into cards this year since I’m so short on time, but I’ll certainly keep it in mind for next October. We love that book, too! Once we even made a puppet show out of that story because my kids loved it so much. Have a great weekend! 🙂
That’s a wonderful tree! I love the little owl, too.
Oh… this is so pretty!! Love it, Scarlett!
