I’m a hopeless stamp lover. I was introduced to the world of rubber stamping when I was in college and have been hooked ever since.
Lately, I’ve fallen in love with the new collection of Tim Holtz stamps.
The Archiver’s near our house just started carrying them and yours truly was ready with her coupons. Here are my three newbies. Aren’t they awesome?
You know, you might be a stamp lover if….
1. You still buy the wood mounted stamps because they have that “new stamp” smell.
(mmmm..you can’t get that new rubber and freshly cut wood smell with the clear mounted kind!)
2. You have an ever growing collection of “thank-you” stamps in several different fonts because you can NEVER have too many “thank you” stamps.
3. You place your newest stamps around the house as home decor accents, just so you can look at them throughout the day and imagine the cards you will make.
4. You have at least one stamp set that you just HAD to have that you’ve never even used.
But you WILL, you WILL!!!
(isn’t this a cute set? one day I have got to make some summery cards with these!)
And finally, the fifth clue that you might be a stamp lover…
5. You have no time, little money, and YET…you still purchase new stamps because, “If I don’t get these NOW, I might NEVER see them again!” 😉
You crack me up. It never occurred to me that stamps have a smell…. but then, I’d rather find beauty than try to make it any day.
