Valentine’s Day Stamping

It’s true!  Even stamps that have nothing to do with Valentine’s can usually be altered in some way to be used on a Valentine card.  Here’s an example…

This little girl gathering shells at the beach (#50031 “Collecting Shells” by Stamps Happen, Inc.) doesn’t look like a Valentine’s stamp but you could draw little hearts around the hem of her dress with a black fine-point pen and color them.  Then you could color the eyelets around her collar and her sash. 

And you could not ink the seashells at all, but rather draw hearts hidden in the sand, colored with red glitter glue. She’s gathering hearts now!

Now it looks like a Valentine!  Stay tuned for more creative ways to use stamps for Valentine’s Cards!
