Valentine Acorn

Here’s another green idea for Valentine’s Day, no paper required!

And I also wanted to let you know that another set of Owl Valentine’s has been added to my shop.  Feel free to share the link with any owl lovers you may know.

All proceeds from my shop go to Cockayne Syndrome research.

Our Valentine’s tree is up next!

  1. Awww..so sweet! Amazing how you can find the tiniest things and make them exactly into something so darn cute!!. When you create, it’s as if that little Acorn was supposed to be a Valentine Acorn. The florist wire and clay were supposed to create a tiny nest and cage. The grape stems were supposed to create a work of art on canvas. I love your imagination and creativity. You are a breath of fresh air to me.

Thinking of you ~ Hoping all is well with the family today ~ xo

  2. @Sherri –Thanks for stopping by, Sherri, you are a great encouragement to me. I appreciate it! It’s amazing what one can think up on a budget, yes? 🙂 Thanks again and have a great week! ~S

  3. Hi Scarlett .. just lovely to see … I bet the squirrels are ganging up to stop the Scarlett huntress pinching their nuts!! Cheers Hilary

    • @Hilary –Lol, yeah, they’re already mad at me since I put my new squirrel proof bird feeder up that I got for Christmas! Oh well, they’ve got a zillion other yards to plunder, right?! Thanks for stopping by!

  4. So that’s what we can do with all those acorns in the yard! Your project is absolutely adorable. Seriously, I did always wonder if there was something to create with those things. : )

    • @Renee –Thanks so much, these are the same nuts I used at Christmas time, too…I used the tops of them, turned upside down, as little tiny baskets for hot air balloon ornaments, check it out under my Christmas Time category if you have a chance. I appreciate your comment, have a great week!
