A New Banner

A new banner for a new season.

The photo on the left is a heavily edited version of a favorite from the Little Miss Fairfax photo shoot.

The center is a Ttv mask I picked up online somewhere. I have a whole collection of these to play with.

The image on the right is a heavily edited version of a photo I staged here at home yesterday. I filled a  big basket with old books pages, Bibles, and sheet music.  I added a single stem of crimson flowers.

  Here’s the original…

And here’s the edited version…

Without exception, I always like the edited version of a photo more.  If I had the time I’d edit every photo.

And I finally came up with a tagline.  What do you think?

“colors of creativity”

Not bad.

Do you know how hard it is to come up with a tagline that I haven’t seen already?

Of course, there’s always the chance that someone out there has the same one.

If this happens to be your tagline, would you do me a huge favor and not tell me?  🙂

Have a beautiful weekend!

  1. Love them all. The one on the right reminds me of a print I had in college – the red splash in it was tulips, but it had old music and book pages in the background. It was one of my favorites.

  2. Looks gorgeous, you are creative in so many ways! Wish I were half as talented!!!

Love the new banner Scarlett. It’s just perfect, the colors, the cropping. The aged patina look to it is just gorgeous…love it!! Love you!!

  4. Oooh, I really love this! It’s just beautiful! I guess I was right on with that award. How fun to know we have so much in common. I can’t wait to learn more about you now.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!
