Preschool Art:It’s the Process, Not the Product by Mary Ann Kohl is the most used art book in our home.
If you love doing arts and crafts with children, this is one of those books you’ll reach for a zillion times.
It has over 200 great craft ideas with minimal supplies and easy instructions.
It gives min. age and the approx. time it takes up in the corner of each page!
It’s chock full of really fun ideas that give kids all the fun of the artistic process, plus gratifying results. Many of the crafts use simple supplies you’ll already have on hand at home.
The book says “Ages 3-6” but I would say “All Ages”. My 8 and 3 yr old love doing these crafts together and my 15 yr. old has joined in sometimes, as well.

Oooh, thank you for the tip! It’s so helpful to have a resource that tells you the appropriate age and how long it takes. It’s always something that N. and I have trouble with.
