If you’re ever in need of a quick and easy art project for your young artists, look no further than your front yard. 

Take a chair out front and let them draw the house.  This is an excellent exercise in looking closely at lines, shapes, and textures.

Drawing a house as it really looks takes concentration!  Your young artists will have to LOOK closely.  Encourage them to include all the details, including bricks, front porch railings, and any other types of materials 0n the outside of the house.  They can even include some of the landscaping in the yard as well.
