Pressed Leaf Alphabet Flash Cards

Every Autumn we pull out this little book and set it on our side table.

It contains alphabet flash cards I made with my daughter, all illustrated with pressed leaves.

Posting all 26 would be a bit much, so here are some of my favorites.

I got the idea several years ago from a Martha Stewart Kids publication, which, unfortunately,  doesn’t come out anymore.

If you love to collect colorful fall leaves like we do, start now!  Pressing leaves throughout the fall season will ensure you have plenty for leaf projects later on.

And this project makes an awesome activity for kids on a cold, wet, winter day.

It’s fun to see the creative way your kids incorporate the leaves.

Hope you’re having a great week!
