Quarantine Valentine

During a 2 week quarantine, I decided to create the frilliest, fanciest Valentine’s Day decoration I could make using supplies I had on hand. Happily, I had saved 2 heart-shaped candy boxes from last year, and I found a large-ish piece of cardboard and white packing foam in the recycling bin. In addition to those items, I used paper doilies, paint, glitter, paper flowers, and sheer wired pink ribbon. The construction was fairly simple: I cut out a large heart from cardboard, painted it red, and then created layers to stack on top of it. I’ve posted some process photos below.
